Nuno Maduro, Brent Roose, and Matthieu Napoli are building a social network for developers in PHP in 48 hours, and they're doing it live on YouTube. Day 1 starts tomorrow, October 15, at 10:00 UTC (6:00 a.m. in New York) from the JetBrains office.

Nuno announced it on X:

me, @brendt_gd and @matthieunapoli are building the best social network for developers ever made

live this thursday from the jetbrains office, using @getsome_air

Brent Roose is a developer advocate for PHP at JetBrains and the creator of the Tempest framework, and Matthieu Napoli is the creator of Bref, the project for running PHP on AWS Lambda. On day 2, Pauline Vos, an open-source software engineer at MongoDB, joins them. Nuno expects that one to be "the biggest livestream ever."

The Stack

Nuno listed the stack as JetBrains Air, JetBrains' app for working with AI tools, along with Laravel and PHP.

That makes this a chance to watch a full app come together with agents in the loop, from an empty project to whatever ships at the end of the 48 hours.
